To meet consumer desire for apparel that uses resources more efficiently, COOLMAX® EcoMade fiber and fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles.  This great INVISTA innovation has been specially designed and engineered to reduce the impact on the environment.

In addition to the classic COOLMAX® fabric performance for absorbency, wicking, durability and abrasion resistance, COOLMAX® EcoMade fiber and fabric demonstrates superior results when tested for whiteness.

With sophisticated recycling technology, plastic bottles are transformed in a manufacturing process into high-quality polyester yarn that qualifies for use in apparel as COOLMAX® EcoMade fiber and fabric.  It can then be qualified for COOLMAX® EcoMade EVERYDAY fiber and COOLMAX® EcoMade EXTREME performance fiber when the INVISTA performance standards is met.
